You Need A Romantic Getaway

Valentine’s Day is sneaking up on all of us, and pretty soon it’ll be too late to book what your Valentine really wants. Say goodbye to flowers and chocolates, because they are so overdone. This year impress your Valentine with a romantic getaway. Who says the way to the heart is through the stomach? The best way to win your Valentine’s heart is to whisk him or her away on a romance filled escape, so here are some ideas.

One of the most popular choices is cruising due to the fact that they are almost all-inclusive and they sail to exotic destinations. Cruising continues to attract those looking for romance on the high seas.

Another popular choice is a Southern beach getaway to Florida, because the temps are still moderately warm and their is nothing more romantic than watching the sun set over a blue ocean with the palm trees swaying from your private balcony.

If your looking for a place to have the ultimate snugglecation, than a skiing trip to Colorado spending your days sharing ski lifts before retreating into one of the many hotels and resorts that offer glitzy accommodations for two and warm fireplaces is the ticket for you.

If you want to share a kiss over a glass of wine, than Napa Valley should be on your list. Brimming with rolling vineyards, cozy wine caverns and luxurious hotels, this wine-lover’s paradise is the ultimate romantic getaway.

A cozy daycation when the budget doesn’t allow for a weekend away can also be romantic. Find something within driving distance and become a local tourist. An over night stay is always required to show the other person how much you care and getting a way for the day just focusing on each other can be just as rewarding.

Hi, my name is Lori Judd and I am a CTA Graduate of ICTA (Institute of Certified Travel Agents) as well as a ACC accredit agent of CLIA. I have been in the travel industry for 20 years. I started my travel career at Journey's Travel and later joined the Walt Disney Travel Company, where I booked travel vacations for the company for 10 years. I left WDTC to pursue my dream of opening my own travel agency. Why should you book through me? You will find that am I extremely knowledgeable in my field with first hand experience with many cruise ships and vacation destinations. Plus, unlike most agents who are condemned to book vacations to make their agency a certain amount of revenue (or risk losing their jobs), I am able to book what you actually want vs what the agency needs. This means your vacation needs will never be compromised just because a supplier is offering more commission to book them. Also, since we are affiliated with a larger travel company we are still able to compete with other agencies by giving our clients competitive prices. The bottom line is: Prestige Travel Vacations is more interested in making your dreams come true by booking exactly what your asking for based on your needs and not by what someone else's idea of what a great vacation for you would be just because it will get them more commission. My cruise experiences: DCL- cruised 9 times! Current Platinum Member/ Wonder (twice in '06) and recent 11/2010/ Magic inaugural & Disney Dream -Apr. 2011 RCCL- 5 times! Current Platinum Member. Sailed once in a family suite. Granduer/ Enchantment/ Mariner/ Navigator 'Jan.08 & 2010/ New- Allure May 2012 Carnival- Fantasy/ Miracle and Inspiration 9/17/09. Ship tours incld.: CCL- Legend/ Holland's Veendam /NCL Star Nov.2011/ RCCL Jewel 3/12/12/ CCL Paradise 10/21/12
